Korean Focus programs do exactly
what our name suggests - they focus on Korean culture and the Korean American community. Suggestions for programs come
from our members, and from the Korean American organizations with which we work. The include small programs (like cooking
lessons at a member's home) to very large events (like planning and hosting the 2003 Korean American Adoptee Adoptive Family
Network national conference One People, Two Histories: Korean Adoption As Part of 100 Years of Korean Immigration.)
As programs are scheduled, details are posted on our Calendar page, so check back frequently to see what's planned.
The following list shows what we've
done in the past, and what's planned for the future. Have an idea - or want to help? Contact us at programs@koreanfocus.org!
On-going
Until 2005, Korean Focus also sponsored two drumming troupes that have
recently lost their teachers. Please contact info@koreanfocus.org if you have experience with Korean drumming and might be interested in working with these great groups.
